Fair Trade Petal Design Jewellery

This certified hand made fair trade jewellery is an incredible gift to give to someone you love. Samunnat is a certified fair trade project as it helps empower women in Nepal who have experienced violence or abuse to rebuild their lives with income, through jewellery making. Each design is made up as a cane. A cane is made when you arrange shaped tubes of polymer clay into a log so that a design continues for the entire length of the log. The women of Samunnat make their intricate designs reasonably large and then reduce them before cutting the cane into slices to decorate their beads.
